Slow-Cooked Lamb Ragu

Slow-cooked until the lamb shoulder surrenders completely, this rich, herb-laden ragù is built on tomato sugo, white wine and a classic soffritto of carrot, celery and onion. Deep, unctuous and unapologetically comforting.

Hagen's grass-fed lamb braised low and slow with rosemary, thyme and parsley, then finished with a splash of white wine. Toss through your favourite pasta, serve on a bed of soft polenta, or spoon over creamy Paris mash.

BLAKEAWAY deliveries are facilitated by Home Delivery Service (HDS), one of Australia’s largest national refrigerated courier companies. For local areas within an approximate 5-10km radius of our store locations in Metro Melbourne we generally hand-deliver.

Orders are delivered in our insulated 'disco boxes,' which are fully recyclable and can remain out of refrigeration for up to 2 hours upon delivery.

We recommend refrigerating items as soon as possible after delivery.
Delivery ETA notifications and tracking information are sent via SMS to the mobile number provided with the shipping information during checkout. Please refer to this for notification of your delivery, as the drivers may not knock or ring the doorbell.

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

transfer contents to a saucepan and warm over a low / medium heat stirring occasionally until hot or transfer contents to a microwave safe container and heat at 2 minute intervals until hot. if consistency is too thick, just add a little water to achieve desired consistency. toss into your favourite pasta.

Delicious pasta sauce!

This ragu is so tasty. The meat is beautifully tender and flavour is very good. I cook it with noodles and vegetables. It is a most generous serve for four people or two people for two meals. Worth ordering!
