WHO IS GLENBY?

You may or may not have heard of our BLAKEAWAY bestseller, ‘Glenby’s Lasagne’. But who or what is a Glenby I hear you ask? Well, Glen Davies, or ‘Glenby’ to those close to him, started working with Andrew Blake at Fanny’s Restaurant in 1980. They have been great mates ever since, and worked together on and off over the years until Glenby’s retirement from BLAKEAWAY earlier this year. When BLAKEAWAY started making and selling lasagnes at the start of Covid-19, it was Glenby who developed the recipe and precise layering. Forty thousand lasagnes later, Glenby may have retired, but his masterpiece will always be with us.

This dish is fresh and cryovaced to maintain quality and extend its shelf life.
It will keep happily in your fridge for several weeks. Every item is clearly labelled with a best before date.

BLAKEAWAY deliveries are facilitated by Home Delivery Service (HDS), one of Australia’s largest national refrigerated courier companies. For local areas within an approximate 5-10km radius of our store locations in Metro Melbourne we generally hand-deliver.

Orders are delivered in our insulated 'disco boxes,' which are fully recyclable and can remain out of refrigeration for up to 2 hours upon delivery.

We recommend refrigerating items as soon as possible after delivery.
Delivery ETA notifications and tracking information are sent via SMS to the mobile number provided with the shipping information during checkout. Please refer to this for notification of your delivery, as the drivers may not knock or ring the doorbell.

Available delivery windows will automatically show during checkout and are based on post codes.

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Rest out of fridge for 20-30 mins to take off the chill. Remove from pack, warm in oven @ 160 for 30-35 mins or until heated through.

This vegetarian lasagne is my favourite go to! It’s fresh and the veggies are tasty. It has the right level of cheese and veggies to help you feel you’ve had a healthy well balanced meal. Please don’t change the recipe it’s perfect as it is :)

Best Lasagna I have ever tasted!

Having made and enjoyed many lasagna dishes over the years, some from leading chefs and some whilst traveling throughout Italy, this dish blew my mind. The three others I shared it with, all agreed. Don’t change a thing…I will be back for more 🥰

Delicious and easy to reheat and serve

My husband loves this lasagna. I make my own but, as most cooks know, it can be a very laborious process. I am a vegetarian so I tend to go for their eggplant vegetarian version.
