ROASTED PORCHETTA WITH FENNEL, GARLIC, LEMON, CHILLI AND PARSLEY

Crisp crackling, tender pork and fragrant herbs – a festive centrepiece with the slow cooking already done. Our half porchetta starts with free-range Borrowdale pork belly, rubbed inside with toasted fennel seeds, fresh parsley and dill, garlic, chilli flakes, white peppercorns, sea salt and fresh lemon zest, finished with Mount Zero extra virgin olive oil.

Each porchetta is hand-tied and cooked at a low temperature. On the day, simply finish in a hot oven to crisp the skin and warm it through, then slice and bring it to the table.

Serving instructions:
Leave out of the fridge to rest for 40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Transfer the porchetta to a baking tray and heat for approximately 25 minutes. Reduce the oven to 170°C and heat for another 5–10 minutes, until warmed through and the crackling is crispy.

Allow 100g per guest when serving with two proteins and three sides.

BLAKEAWAY deliveries are facilitated by Home Delivery Service (HDS), one of Australia’s largest national refrigerated courier companies. For local areas within an approximate 5-10km radius of our store locations in Metro Melbourne we generally hand-deliver.

Orders are delivered in our insulated 'disco boxes,' which are fully recyclable and can remain out of refrigeration for up to 2 hours upon delivery.

We recommend refrigerating items as soon as possible after delivery.
Delivery ETA notifications and tracking information are sent via SMS to the mobile number provided with the shipping information during checkout. Please refer to this for notification of your delivery, as the drivers may not knock or ring the doorbell.

Available delivery windows will automatically show during checkout and are based on post codes.
