TRADITIONAL 'BLAKES' CHRISTMAS PLUM PUDDING, BRANDY CUSTARD

A Christmas tradition from Granny Blake’s kitchen – without the sixpences. Our traditional plum pudding is made to her recipe, with dried fruit macerated in brandy and rum for two months, then steamed and left to mature for another month.

Rich with fruit, citrus and warming spices, it’s a festive finish worth taking your time over. Serve warm with the accompanying brandy custard for a little family tradition at your own Christmas table.

Serving instructions:

  • Remove the pudding from its packaging. Heat in the microwave, or cover with foil and warm in the oven at 160°C until heated through.
  • Heat the brandy custard in a microwave-safe dish, stirring at 45-second intervals until warm.
  • Pour the warm custard over the pudding and serve.

BLAKEAWAY deliveries are facilitated by Home Delivery Service (HDS), one of Australia’s largest national refrigerated courier companies. For local areas within an approximate 5-10km radius of our store locations in Metro Melbourne we generally hand-deliver.

Orders are delivered in our insulated 'disco boxes,' which are fully recyclable and can remain out of refrigeration for up to 2 hours upon delivery.

We recommend refrigerating items as soon as possible after delivery.
Delivery ETA notifications and tracking information are sent via SMS to the mobile number provided with the shipping information during checkout. Please refer to this for notification of your delivery, as the drivers may not knock or ring the doorbell.

Available delivery windows will automatically show during checkout and are based on post codes.
